Jeremy J. Wheeler

Jeremy J. Wheeler, age 27, of Cheboygan passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017. He was born November 23, 1989 in Cheboygan, the son of Ray and Annette (Dixon) Wheeler. Jeremy graduated from Cheboygan High School in 2009 and Hobart Institute of Welding Technology in Troy, Ohio and holds 11 certifications in welding. He had worked at Schwartz Boiler Shop for the past seven years.

Jeremy enjoyed....anything with a motor. His favorite pastimes were riding his dirt bike, mudding, four wheeling, camping, bonfires and spending time with his many friends. 

Survivors include his parents, Annette Wheeler of Cheboygan and Ray (Samantha) Wheeler of Moran, two brothers, Michael (Samantha Ritthaler) of Lachine and Justin (Brittany Burns) of Alpena, one sister, Rebecca Dunnavant of Cheboygan, his girlfriend, Sheena Hollopeter of Cheboygan, grandparents, Richard and Judy Dixon of Cheboygan and Beverly Reynolds of Hillsdale, step-brothers, Josh (Hannah) Orr of St. Ignace and Randy Rickley of Moran, step-sister, Stephanie Beauregard of Eaton Rapids, five nephews, Hunter and Colton Wheeler, Logan Orr, Caden Munsell and Remy Orr, his niece, Emery Orr, his best friend, Josh Phillips and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

The funeral mass will be held at St. Mary/St. Charles Catholic Church on Saturday, November 11, at 10:00 AM with the family greeting friends one hour prior to the service. Rev. Duane Wachowiak will officiate. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Cheboygan JayCees.  Arrangements are being handled by the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.
