John Lee Lasley

John Lee Lasley, 90, of Harbor Springs, walked on in the early morning hours of November 22, 2019.

John was born on November 12, 1929, the sixth child born to John P. and Agnes K. (Gibson) Lasley. John attended school in both Cross Village and Good Hart.

In 1952, John joined the United States Army and proudly served his country for the next two years.

He returned to Good Hart and lived a quiet life. John enjoyed skiing and woodworking. He was extremely talented at hand carving gun stocks and gifted many to close family and friends.

John is survived by his sister, Mary Lou Bowers of Harbor Springs; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and ten siblings.

Private services will be held in the spring and John will be laid to rest at Islandview Cemetery in Good Hart.
