John MacDonald

John MacDonald, 72, of Naples, Florida and Walloon Lake, Michigan, died October 7, 2017 at his home on Walloon Lake.

John was born January 19, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Marvin and Margaret (Maus) MacDonald. He grew up in Detroit and graduated from Western Michigan University.

On June 28, 1969, he married Lisa James in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.

John worked for Chrysler Corporation for 30 years in the Sales and Marketing Divisions.

He enjoyed boating, golfing and spending time with family and friends.

John was a member of Walloon Lake Country Club in Michigan and Royal Poinciana Golf Club, Naples, Florida.

John is survived by his wife, Lisa MacDonald; his son, Brian MacDonald (Rachel),

grandchildren Hannah, Sam and Max MacDonald; daughter, Kelly MacDonald and

granddaughter Madeline MacDonald; and by his sister, Jean Denys. John was preceded in

death by his parents and sister Marge Behler.

The family is planning a Memorial Service at a later date.
