Joseph Michael Blossom

Joseph Michael Blossom, age 66, of Boyne City, died November 8, 2017, peacefully in his home.

Born Joseph Michael Blossom on June 22, 1951, to parents Jon and Marion (Bauer) Blossom in Bryan, OH. In his early years Joseph lived in Montpelier, OH where he graduated from Montpelier High School. Soon after he graduated, Joseph moved to Boyne City, MI where happily spent the rest of his years.

Joseph was an Entrepreneur and founded Blossom Building, Blossom Pest Control, and Advance Mini Storage.  After high school Joseph continued his education at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Joseph owned and operated Blossom Pest Control successfully for over 30 years.

Joseph was a happy and outgoing person. He loved to spend his free time outdoors and at his cabin hunting and fishing with his sons and friends.  He was an extremely kind and giving person, always making sure his family came first.  He was a wonderful friend and an amazing father of two sons.  Joseph’s bright spirit will remain in our lives and our hearts forever.

Joseph is preceded in death by his brothers Jon and Larry Blossom, Father Jon Blossom

He is survived by his sons Lee and Andy Blossom, his siblings Stephen, Theron, Ben, Lexi, Lisa, his mother Marion; loving cousins and lifelong friends.

A gathering of family and friends will be taking place 1:30 to 4:30 PM at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City Tuesday November 14th, 2017.

Memorial donations may be directed to Hospice of Little Traverse Bay or Ducks Unlimited.
