Louis Fantini Obituary

Louis Fantini, passed away peacefully at Hiland Cottage on Wednesday, January 8th with his devoted wife, Sue, by his side.

Lou retired from Ford Motor Credit Company in 1992 and spent the remainder of his years volunteering throughout Petoskey and Emmet County. He served for twenty years on the board of Greenwood Cemetery, served on the Red Cross Disaster Support Team responding to many states after natural disasters, was one of the first mediators with the Northern Community Mediation, along with serving on many other boards. He was extremely active at First Presbyterian Church of Petoskey where he served as the Financial Secretary and Elder.

Lou is survived by his wife Sue, two children, and four grandchildren.

Lou will be deeply missed by his family and friends. A memorial service will be held in the Spring to celebrate Lou’s faith and life. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to First Presbyterian Church of Petoskey, 501 E Mitchell St, Petoskey, MI.
