Louis Lovitt

Louis Lovitt, 56 of Afton, passed away on July 6, 2018 at his home.

Louis was born on June 11, 1962 in Detroit, MI the son of Ancil and Patricia Lovitt. He grew up in Westland, MI and attended school at Wayne Memorial High School, graduating in 1980. Louis enjoyed fishing, hunting, canoeing, kayaking, repairing vehicles, grilling, playing horseshoe and pool. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family and helping his parents. He didn't identify with any specific religion but he was a spiritual and saved man.

Louis is survived by his parents Ancil and Patricia Lovitt, siblings Deb Markle, Pamela Lovitt, Karen (Roger) Fater, and Michael (Tammy) Lovitt, son Brent Lovitt, nieces and nephews Sam Markle, Nathan (Raquelle) Markle, Kendra (Luke) Gilham, Kasie (Darrin) Anderson, Rodney (Amy) Fater, Tayler Zimmerman, Matthew Lovitt, Joshua (Alyeska) Lovitt, Wilbur (Jenna) Lovitt, and Jacob Lovitt, girlfriend Melissa Cadotte, and many great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his great nephew Chanler Aaron Gilham.

There will be a family and friends get-together to honor Louis's life. It will take place on July 21, 2018 beginning at 1pm at his brother's home located at 3104 Carter Road, Afton, MI.
