Loyal Woods Obituary

Loyal G. (Woody) Woods of Indian River passed away on January 8, 2019 in the care of Hospice House in Cheboygan. He was born on November 18, 1928 in Fortuna, MO. He will be forever in the hearts of his wife Edith M (Edee) of 70 years, daughter Shirley Jean, her husband Jerry, and son Rick who preceded him, as well as twin sons who preceded in infancy, brother Dennis and his wife Lois, sister in law Jan and many family members and friends. Woody was a WWII Veteran. He loved riding his Honda Trike with Edee and many years of motorcycling, water-skiing, and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed singing Country Western music and playing guitar while Edee played the washboard.He moved from Missouri to Dearborn Heights then retired in 1982 settling in Indian River. Arrangements are being made with Lintz Funeral Home. No services and cremation will take place.
