Lynda Detlaff Wilson

Lynda Detlaff Wilson, age 53 of Boyne City passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor.

Lynda was born on June 10, 1963 in Petoskey, the daughter of Robert and Virginia (Hammond) Detlaff.  She grew up in East Jordan, MI and graduated from East Jordan High School.  On October 11, 1986 she married Kevin Wilson in Boyne City.  Lynda worked for Industrial Magnetics Inc. for the past twenty-five years and was currently working in sales for them.

Lynda enjoyed bowling and was a past secretary for the Boyne City Women’s Bowling League and use to help to coach the Boyne City Girls Bowling team.  She also liked to cook, spend time outdoors and reading.

Lynda is survived by her husband Kevin Wilson; children Nick (Angela) Detlaff and Sean (Tiffany) Wilson; grandchild Alayna Detlaff; brothers Mark and Robert Detlaff; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Virginia; father-in-law Robert Wilson and brother-in-law Kerry Wilson.

Visitation will be held 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, April 21st at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 22nd at the funeral home with burial to follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
