Martin Dean Leist

Martin "Mark" Dean Leist passed away on July 24, 2017.

Mark was proceeded in death by his parents Burton Edward and Virginia May Leist; brother, Burton Edward (surviving Priscilla) Leist; grandparents, Thomas and Lily Leist; and Cashmere and Olzie Kolinske.

Mark is survived by his sons, Jason Thomas Leist and James Patrick Leist; Brothers and Sisters, Darlene (Paul) Schwartzfisher, Debbie (David) Hall, Marsha (Donald) Petrowski, Cynthia (Allen) Elya, Terry (Kelly) Leist, Brenda (Steven) Gutierrez, Scott (Cynthia) Leist, Brent (Nicole) Leist; many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews that adored their Uncle Mark. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

A loving man, Mark had a heart of gold that was always willing to lend a hand or help to anyone in need. It is a wonder he wasn’t seen shirtless all the time, due to his generosity. Mark loved to spend his free time at the garage, fiddling with the wreckers, at the hunting camp, going fishing, being with family, and telling stories that possibly were 75% true.

Mark passed away responding to a call for help on an accident scene. Our peace is knowing that he was doing something he loved. Greatly missed, Mark's absence leaves a hole in our hearts, that will never be fulfilled.

In lieu of flowers please pay it forward by doing an act of kindness in Marks name. The family will be scheduling a memorial in his honor.
