Mary Ann Rose, age 67 of Alanson, passed away Sunday October 7, 2018 at home.
Mary was born on May 26, 1951 in Petoskey, MI, the daughter of Clarence Rosebohm and Faye Swadling. She grew up in Harbor Springs and graduated from Harbor Springs High School in 1969. On June 7, 1969 she married Edward Rose in Zion Lutheran Church in Petoskey. Mary enjoyed playing cards, board games, hanging out with friends at the bar, gardening, and entertaining guests. She also enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, visiting with her sisters, and watching the TV show Survivor. Mary loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a past member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Petoskey and a member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary.
Mary is survived by her husband Edward W. Rose, son Edward J. (Melissa) Rose, grandchildren Katelynn Rose and Eva Rose, siblings Marlis Hibbler, Linda Pugh, Charlene (Bill) Brown, and Elaine (Wayne) Burch, friends Johnna (Jaqueline) Hodge, and special niece Thereasa Eggers. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father in law Alford Rose, and her brothers in law Harry Hibbler and Jim Pugh.
There are currently only private services scheduled for Mary.
