Mary Lucinda (McCleese) Topolinski

Mary Lucinda (McCleese) Topolinski, 77 of Boyne Falls, passed away peacefully at Hiland Cottage of Petoskey, MI.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 14, 2018 at Stackus funeral home in Boyne City with visitation being held from 9:00 AM until the time of service. The ceremony officiant, Lisa Froehlich, will officiate and a luncheon at St. Mathews of Boyne City will immediately follow.

Mary was born January 4th 1941 in Mancelona Michigan, the daughter of Ernest and Edna (Ramey) McCleese. Mary grew up in Mancelona and attended school in both Mancelona and Boyne Falls.

On June 18th 1960 Mary and Bill Topolinski were married in Boyne City and moved to their farm in Boyne Falls shortly after.

Mary worked at Little Traverse Hospital and Bortz Nursing home as a Certified Nursing Assistant, as well as working on the farm with Bill. Mary cared for many members of her family over the years as a care giver.

Mary enjoyed the farm life, gardening, tending her many flower beds, camping and decorating her house.

Mary is survived by her husband Bill, her children, Edward (Jeanette), Steven, Theresa (Robert), Gerald and Christopher (Lisa). Her sisters Geneva and Evelyn, Her grandchildren Ashley Parsons, Liam and Luke Topolinski and Jason Masserant.

Mary was preceded in death by her Mother and Father, 4 brothers, Willard, Tom, Joe, Jim, and 2 sisters, Olive, Pearl.

The family would ask that donations be made to the Hiland Cottage of Petoskey in lieu of flowers.
