Reba Jane (Antone) Blakely

Reba J. "Grams" Blakely, age 78, of Wolverine has finished her journey the Lord had for her here on earth and has joined her other loved ones on August 3, 2018 at Hiland Cottage.

Reba was born April 12, 1940 in Oneida, Ontario, Canada, the daughter of George "Dad" and Alice "Ma" (Walker) Antone. She moved from Oneida Canada to Detroit, MI and married the late Roy H. Blakely, Jr. on April 2, 1967. They moved to Wolverine in 1980 and Roy passed away in February of 1981. Reba and Eldon Secord opened B-S Doughnut Shop in Wolverine in 1986, eventually changing the name to the Lumberjack Cafe which closed in 2002.

Survivors include Edmund "Buddy" (Pam) Antone, Levi (Grace) Antone, Brian Blakely, Kevin Sr. (Melissa) Antone, and Brenda (Daniel) Drogus, her sister Marie Robinson,  grandchildren Eddy Antone, Ashley (Donald) George, Alicia Antone, Keith Blakely, Curt (Jenn) Cornelius, Kyle Cornelius, Courtney (Nikita) Doxtator, Katie Antone and Kevin Antone Jr., nieces and nephews Irwin Antone and Bev (Dee) Antone, as well as many great grandchildren and cousins. Beside her husband Roy, Reba was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Perry (Lucy) Antone and Harley Antone and two sisters, Jean Doxtator and Isabelle Farmer.

The funeral service will take place at the Wolverine Free Methodist Church on Wednesday, August 8 at 11:00 AM with the family greeting friends one hour prior to the service. Pastor Steve Evoy will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Little Traverse Bay.
