Renee Michelle Bruneel-Hufford

Renee Bruneel Hufford, 47, of Boyne City, Michigan, passed away October 4th, 2017, after a lengthy illness.  Renee had a kind heart, was bubbly & energetic, and was always ready to help others.  Family was very important to her.   It was for service to military families in Texas that she was inducted into the Honorable Order of Molly Pitcher by the U.S. Army.

Renee is survived by her husband, Paul Hufford; her son Stephen Bruneel (Tabitha Stanton); her grandson Tyson Bruneel; her daughter Dorenda Klintworth and grandchildren Sadee, Theodore, Jasper and Melodee; Stepchildren Rebecca and Josh Hufford; her Mother Diane Olson; her stepfather Walt Cherry; her sister Patricia Leist (Marvin Leist); and many nieces and nephews. 

Renee was preceded in death by her father, Roy Bruneel, Sr.; sister, Christine Bruneel; brother Roy Bruneel, Jr.; and niece, Amy Turnbull.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City. Visitation will be held prior to the time of service from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.
