Richard Kwiatkowski

Richard “Richie Ray” Kwiatkowski, 46, of Cheboygan, passed away Friday, June 7, 2019 at Hiland Cottage in Petoskey.

A lifelong resident of Cheboygan, Richard was born November 17, 1972 in Petoskey, the son of Richard “Turk” and Rayma (Hoiland) Kwiatkowski.  He was a 1991 graduate of Cheboygan High School, and owned and operated Up North Painting in Cheboygan.  He enjoyed listening to and attending metal music concerts, and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Surviving are his fiancée, Beth Handy, two sons, Reece and Masin Kwiatkowski, his mother, Rayma Kwiatkowski of Levering, a brother, Bill (Sherry) Mockridge of Hortonville, Wisconsin, a nephew, Billy Mockridge of Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, and his fiancée Beth’s father, Mike Handy.

A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Richard’s life will be held on Friday, June 14, 2019 from 5:00pm-8:00pm, at the Beaugrand Township Hall.  Everyone is encouraged to dress casually, and wear your favorite metal or Green Bay Packers shirt.
