Rita, born September 6th, 1922, a resident of Harbor Springs, formerly a resident of Beverly Hills was a member of the Birmingham County Club

She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Lawrence.

Dear mother of Suzanne (Donald) MacDowell, Joan (John) Pennell, and Barbara (William - deceased) Ritsema. Grandmother of Alex, Adam and Abby MacDowell; Jennifer and Joseph Pennell and Katherine and Craig Ritsema. Rita also had 7 great grandchildren.

A private service will be held for Rita this summer.

Memorial tributes can be made to the Hospice of Northern Michigan.
