Roscoe "Rocky" F. Reed

Roscoe (Rocky) Reed, age 74, of Wolverine Mi. passed away Sunday June 2, 2019 at Munson Otsego Memorial Hospital. He was born April 21, 1945 in Flint MI, the son of Monty Glen Reed & Evelyn Izella (Smith) Reed. On November 11, 1967. Rocky married Katheryn Rae (Wright) Rogers, in Flushing MI. He grew up in Mt. Morris & Flushing and attended school at Flushing, graduating in 1964.

Rocky served in Vietnam in the Army from 1965-67. He drove forklift for GM for many years and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and socializing with friends. He belonged to the VFW Post #7439.

Survivors include his wife Katheryn of 51 ½ years, Son Kevin (Tracy) Reed. Grandkids Katelyn Reed (fiancé Jeff Simmons), Christian Reed. Brother Ronald Reed of Florida. Sisters Joann Hyrman of Mt. Morris, Wanda Dodge of Davison, Laura Reed of Davison. Sister in law Janet Reed. Many nieces & nephews. Special friends Matt & Donna of Brooksville Florida. Jimmy & Caroline of Wolverine, MI.

Preceded in death by: Parents Monty & Evelyn Reed, Brothers Donald St. Peter, Robert Reed, Dale Reed, Gerald Reed, Sister Mabel Balfour. Sister in law Nancy Reed. Brother in law Jessie Dodge.

 A memorial service will take place at the VW Post #7439 in Indian River MI on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM with the family greeting friends from 12-1 prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be directed to VFW Post #7439. Arrangements are being handled by the Lintz Funeral Home.
