Russell DK Baldwin

Russell DK Baldwin Jr., 61 of Wolverine, passed away on January 13, 2018 at his home.

Russell was born on September 18, 1956 in Belleville, MI., the son of Jean (Woods) and Russell Baldwin Sr. He grew up in Belleville and attended school at Belleville High School. After high school he was enlisted in the Army. He was stationed in both Vietnam and Germany. It was in Germany that he met his wife, Petra Pfaumbaum. The couple married on July 18, 1975 in Kierspe, Germany at the Justice of the Peace. In 1976 the couple moved to Wolverine and started a family. Russell's hobbies included fishing, building shadow boxes, preserving dead insects, and fixing cars and motorcycles. He owned a car repair shop, R & R Auto, that he operated out of his home. Russell was also a member of the American Legion of Wolverine.

Russell is survived by his wife, Petra, children Steven (Brook) Baldwin, Russell Baldwin III, Cortney (Brian) Daly, and Stacy Baldwin, grandchildren Corina Baldwin, Collin Daly, and David Crandell, step-grandchildren Layla, Ashton, and Grace, a half brother Aaron McIntosh, and two half sisters Fay Campo and Connie Rains. He is preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held for Russell at the Lintz Funeral Home on January 22nd, visitation will begin at 10am, memorial service at 12pm. Pastor Mark Chartier will officiate.
