Please accept my sincerest sympathy regarding the loss of Tom. I remember fondly playing with Tom, Margaret and Dennis on Blair Street in Alpena in the 1950's. Wonder if Margaret and Dennis remember the Fortier twins. . . So sorry for your loss.

So sorry for your loss. Tom and I worked together at Besser Company for his whole career there. We worked in the office at Besser in manufacturing engineering. At first Tom was single. Then a delightful young lady, Donna, started to work at Besser-- Donna did not take long to see a Tom was a leader and caring person. We at Besser saw the blossom of a great romance. God blessed their meeting. Tom and Donna devoted time to our church Immanuel Lutheran in Alpena -- designing the circular berm with plantings and accessories -- it is a "Living Testament" to their "Love for Jesus" and their love for one another. Tom has departed but Donna will be the rock of their dual family. I say to Donna-- Tom was an inspiration to me a young supervisor at Besser --- his smooth ways and kind words showed others that "Talk it over & compromise" ---were better then getting upset and being mean (ignorant) --- I can see him today in his office --neat as a pin and organized --- his greeting ---OK -- How can I help you? --- I will miss him -- But I know in my heart Tom and I will great each other in Heaven --- we will have a lot to say!
