Tom Bonser, 65 of Harbor Springs, Michigan, passed away on January 7, 2020 at McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey, Michigan.
Son of Ralph Bonser and Mary Ellen Farina, Tom was born on September 13, 1954 in Dearborn, Michigan. He grew up in Dearborn and attended school at Sacred Heart.
On April 4, 1975 he married Shannon Eileen Kendell in Dearborn, Michigan.
Tom was an avid fisherman who enjoyed fishing on the big lakes as well as drift fishing down the Manistee River. Tom adored his grandchildren and spent almost every summer day with them cruising around Burt Lake and up and down the rivers. On the summer nights there was nothing he enjoyed more then sitting by a campfire with his family.
Tom is survived by his wife Shannon Eileen Bonser; daughter Allyson (Ben) Warner; grandchildren Caylin, Cristyan, and Carrigan; his sisters: Colleen Cunningham, Lynn (Mike) Kujawski, and Laurie (Steve) Earles; his Stepmother Beverly Bonser; many beloved sisters and brother-in-laws; and nieces and nephews.
Tom is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Bonser; mother, Mary Ellen Farina; Stepfather and fishing buddy Joseph Farina; and his Best Friend and Brother-in-law Neal (Linda) Anderson.
