Virginia M. Tebo

Virginia M. Tebo, age 85, of Cheboygan passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at Tendercare. She was born May 29, 1932 in Cheboygan, the daughter of the late William and Dora (McKay) Weston. On March 14, 1953 at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Cheboygan, Virginia married Leslie E. "Les" Tebo who preceded her in death in April of 2013.

Virginia received her teaching certificate from County Normal and taught for a year before she became a mother. She attended Faith Baptist Church. In her younger days she enjoyed baking and decorating celebratory cakes, crocheting, playing the piano and spoiling her great grandchildren. 

Survivors include her son, Les (Vicki) Tebo of Cheboygan, grandchildren, Dean (Kristin) Tebo of Presque Isle and Jennifer (Jacob) Workman of Cheboygan and her great grandchildren, Brian, Helena, Timothy, Landon and Lily. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Charles and William Weston and her sister, Dorothy Zyble. 

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 18 at Faith Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with the family greeting friends beginning at 9:00 AM. Pastors Jim Currie and Reid Nelson will officiate. Memorial contributions may be directed to Faith Baptist Church or the Mackinaw City Bible Church.  Arrangements are being handled by the Nordman-Christian Funeral Home.
