William "Bill" Brooks

William “Bill” Richard Brooks, age 68 of Boyne City passed away at home on July 17, 2019.  He was born November 3, 1950 to Richard and Jeanette (Erickson) Brooks who preceded him in death.

Bill is survived by his precious Shih Tzu’s, Sadie, Sassie and Winnie; his loving wife Christine; son William “Billy” Brooks, Jr.; daughter Jennifer (Brad) Wilson; four step-daughters Elizabeth (Tony) Romero, Marianne “Mo” Watkins, Jessica (Art) Vallad and Melanie (Dan) Lewis; grandchildren Landen and Nolan Wilson, Marcus (Emily), Raeanna and Caiden Watkins, Abigail Smith, Ava, Fiona and Lia Lewis; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Bill spent his life repairing and recycling used appliances as well as being an avid Coke collector and lover of flea markets, garage sales and antique stores. He will be remembered for his annual Christmas display complete with a hot cocoa booth.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 24, 20129 at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City with a visitation being held from 10:00 AM until the time of service.  Burial will take place at Evangeline Township Cemetery.
