Agnes "Louise" (Bellmer) Rayon

Agnes “Louise” Rayon passed away January 16, 2021 at her home at Mallard Cove.

Louise was born in Petoskey, the daughter of Emery and Edna (Haney) Bellmer.  She graduated from Petoskey High School with the class of 1950 and the next day went to work for FW Woolworth in Petoskey.  She also worked in Cheboygan and other area Woolworth stores in the area.

On July 1, 1972, Louise married C.A. “Ray” Rayon and due to an airplane accident, C.A. passed away in 1990.

Louise often got the family together, especially at Thanksgiving.  She taught an Adult Sunday School Class and a Children’s Class at the Epsilon United Methodist church.

Louise is survived by her sisters, Evelyn Bellmer Harmon, Mary (Daniel) Bellmer Grangood; niece, Laura Harmon; nephews, Kevin Grangood, Kurt (Meridith) Grangood, Erik (Kayla) Grangood and Larry Rayon; 3 stepsons, Ron, Steven, and Ben Rayon; great nieces and nephews, Brendon, Marley, Kyle, Emma, and Luka; and by many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Emily D, Bellmer, and by 2 stepsons, Don and Larry Rayon.

Services celebrating Louise’s life will be held on Thursday, January 21st at 1pm.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 11am-1pm.  Due to State of Michigan Covid guidelines, masks must be worn, and social distancing observed.
