Aimee Lynn Faggion

Aimee Lynn Faggion, 52, of Cheboygan, MI passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Cheboygan Hospital.

Aimee was born on December 28, 1972, in New Port Richey, Florida, the daughter of Barbara Jean Loree and Carl Faggion, she grew up in Cheboygan and attended school there. 

Aimee was a member of the high school marching band and was a Special Olympics athlete. A big fan of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings, she enjoyed watching them on TV as well as going to Comerica Park to root for the Tigers. She also loved her pets, raising her dogs as she grew up.

Aimee was always willing to volunteer helping the elderly, as well as helping the competitive cheer team and other Special Olympic athletes. She carried that spirit to cheering on the Cheboygan high school football team.

She loved collecting unique items like porcelain dolls, any Tasmanian things, and unicorns. As a Special Olympics athlete, Aimee participated in basketball, bocce, bowling, and gymnastics. As a gymnast, Aimee won five gold medals at the National Games in Iowa and was on the state champion soccer team.

She also liked watching the gameshow TV channel, especially “Family Feud”, “Beat the Bridge”, and “Deal or No Deal”.

Aimee is survived by her brother, Jeff Anderson and wife Debbie, Jennifer and Joey Bishop, Michelle and Nick Johnson, Shawn and Mage Anderson, Aaron Anderson, Candace and Jeremy Trueblood, Kassondra Pratt,, Sakieya Pratt, Peyton and Madison Trueblood, as well as many great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother Barbara Stoneburner and stepfather Ken Stoneburner, as well as sister Alianna Loehne.

Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at the Cheboygan Wesleyan Church. The service will begin at 2pm followed by a luncheon in the dining area.
