Alan James Fish, 68, of Boyne City, Michigan, passed away suddenly on February 10, 2026, at his home.
Son of Raymond and Patricia (Unger) Fish, Alan was born on October 31, 1957, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated from Creston High School.
He was married to Mary (Schmidt) Cunningham. While together they had four daughters.
Alan worked as a CNC machinist for most of his life. He worked for Moeller Aerospace in Harbor Springs, Michigan, and then at Precision Edge in Boyne City.
He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, going down the river, boating and family cookouts.
Alan was very family oriented and family meant everything to him. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.
He is survived by his four daughters: Mandy (Josh) McKenzie, Niki (Derrick) Dzedzie, Carrie Fish, and Dawn (Mike) Jensen; his eight grandchildren: Payton, Colton, Annabella, Gabbie, Serenity, Travis, Everest, and Sara; his siblings: Russell (Treasa) Fish, Linda (Joseph) Rumler, and Michael (Kimberly) Fish; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Alan is preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Patricia Fish, and his brother Thomas Fish.
A celebration of life will be held on March 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Stanwood Eagles 4360 in Standwood, Michigan.
