Amanda Rae Pearson, “Mandy Heynig”, 44 of Pellston, died unexpectedly on February 8, 2021 at the McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey.
Amanda was born on May 28, 1979 in Petoskey, the daughter of Lance Heynig and Patricia Bowra and was raised in Harbor Springs. She graduated from Harbor Springs High School with the Class of 1994 and attended Beauticians School, receiving her certification.
Amanda worked for a time at various banks in the area before going to work in the Call Center at the My Community Dental Center in Petoskey.
Amanda loved the outdoors. She enjoyed campfires, 4-wheeling, and going to the beach. She also served as a Cheer Coach with the Alanson Champion Force Cheer Group.
She is survived by 3 children, Ron (Rose Bouck) Hosking, Jr., Donovan Pearson, and Alexandra “Lexie” Pearson; her mother, Patricia Bowra; father, Lance Heynig; brother, Michael (Erica) Heynig; and a loving Mimi to her 2 granddaughters, Brooklynn Bouck and Adrianna Woollard.
Amanda was preceded in death by her grandparents, including her special grandma with whom she shared a birthday, Evelyn Haven; and by an infant son, Carter.
