Anna F (Kondrat) Goodman

Anna F. (Kondrat) Goodman, age 90 of Boyne Falls, died peacefully on August 10, 2020.

Anna was born on February 13, 1930 in Boyne Falls, MI the daughter of Catherine and Michael Kondrat. Anna moved down state at the age of 18 and met her husband Keith Goodman and they married on February 13, 1954 in Detroit at St. Jude’s Catholic Church. Anna worked for Michigan Bell for 27 years and retired in 1987 when Keith retired and they moved to Boyne Falls which they had 22 wonderful years of retirement.  Anna was very active with St. Augustine Church, being involved with the Ladies Guild and being an usher. Anna enjoyed working in her garden that was always plentiful, she enjoyed mushrooming in the spring and going to the casino on Sunday afternoons.

After moving down state to be closer to her daughters to help with her illness. She talked about home and how she missed it. She never forgot where home was.Anna is loved by her children Roxane Casper, Sue (Rich) Remmert, Kathy (Ken) Lippman and Mary Goodman.  Proud grandma to Tom (Brigitte), Keith (Lyndsay), Jerry (Halley), Brittany, Kevin, Rosemarie (Josh), Maegan (Joe), Anna (Joel). And 5 beautiful great grandchildren.  Anna was preceded in death by her husband Keith, son Mark, and daughter Theresa.

Visitation will be held 1:00 to 7:00 PM Sunday, August 16th at St. Augustine Church in Boyne Falls with the reciting of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. A graveside will be held 12:00 noon, Monday August 17th at St. Augustine Cemetery and all are welcome.

The family requests memorial donations be directed to St. Augustine Church or to the Alzheimer’s/Dementia Association.
