Arlene Hazel (Boda) Brilley

Arlene Hazel Brilley, age 77, passed away on April 23, 2025, at Medilodge of Cheboygan.

Arlene was born on October 5, 1947, in Cheboygan, MI, the daughter of Daniel and Leota (McDonald) Boda. She graduated from Pellston High School in 1966 and later married Ron Brilley. Arlene enjoyed dancing, Bingo and time at the casino. She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Jordan and later moved to St. Clement Catholic Church in Pellston.

Arlene is survived by her children Melissa Brilley and Kevin Brilley; granddaughters Andrea and Zoey; brother Dan (Ellen) Boda; sisters Donna (Rod) Searles, Marilyn McDonald, Carolyn (Gordon) Taglauer, Phebe Boda and Sharalee Boda along with many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her parents; husband Ron; and brother-in-law Chuch.

Visitation will be held 10:00 am until the time of service Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at St. Clement Catholic Church.

Mass will be celebrated 11:00 am Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at the church followed by burial at St. Clement Catholic Cemetery.  Fr. Duane Wachowiak is serving as celebrant.

Donations in Arlene’s name may be directed to Pellston Education Foundation, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the Ronald MacDonald House in Ann Arbor, MI.
