Arthur Louis Waryas

Arthur Louis Waryas (89) was born September 20, 1936 in Hamtramck, Michigan and died on February 7, 2026 at his home in Cheboygan, Michigan. Arthur is the son of Louis and Virginia Waryas and he grew up in Detroit.  He attended school at the Detroit Institute of Technology and earned a degree in accounting and finance.  He served in the United States Army from 1956-1962 and on May 2, 1964, he married Camille Lewandowski.   Arthur enjoyed tennis, archery, hunting, fishing and reading.  He was a member of St. Mary/St. Charles Catholic Church in Cheboygan, MI.

Survivors include, Camille Waryas (Loving wife of 61 years), (brother) Thomas (Sister) Mary Ann Vitello (Son) Vincent, Elizabeth Conrad (late Stephen) Late Donna (Matthew) Schulte, Celia (James) Gillis, 7 grandchildren, Ryan, Evan, Hailey, Luke, Ronald, Shane, Shannon.

Services will be held at St. Mary/St. Charles Catholic Church Saturday, February 14, 2026. Visitation will begin at 1:00 with a service to follow at 2:00. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to St Mary/St. Charles Outreach: Habitat for Humanity; The Cheboygan Food Pantry at St. Thomas Church.
