Barbara Lynn (Schlink) Mittig

Barbara Lynn (Schlink) Mittig, 59 of Boyne City, Michigan, passed away at her home on February 28, 2025.

Daughter of Joseph and Shirley (Smith) Schlink, Barb was born on March 10, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio. She grew up in Boyne City and graduated from Boyne City High School.

Barb worked for American Spoon as a jam maker.

She loved hanging out with her friends and family, especially her dog Daisy. Barb also loved to cook and bake. She enjoyed her cars and watching the Tigers and Lions.

Barb is survived by her two sons Bobby Courtright and Charlie Courtright; sister Betty Schuknecht; brother Joe Schlink; and best friend and roommate, Doug Lund.

She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Shirley.

A memorial service officiated by Pastor Karen Harriman will be on March 15, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Stackus Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM.
