Barbara Jean (Durfey) Moulder

Barbara Jean Moulder passed away at her home surrounded by loved ones one May 13, 2023, at the age of 92. Barbara was born on April 3, 1931, in Cheboygan Michigan to Robert and Gladys (Fenlon) Durfey. She married the love of her life, Gordon John Moulder, in December 1949 and had two children, Clayton John Moulder and Connie Moulder Sova. Barb worked at Friendly Hardware and JC Penney prior to being employed by Proctor and Gamble where she retired in 1986. After retirement Barb and Gordon spent their winters in Florida where they enjoyed time with many new friends.

Gordon has been patiently waiting in heaven for Barb since June 2003. She has now joined him along with her parents, her siblings James Durfey, Nellie Durfey Moulder, Bernard Durfey, as well as many brother and sisters-in-law, and granddaughter Crystal Sova. ‘Barb will be greatly missed by her surviving siblings Jesse Kopp, Bill (Mary) Durfey and Paul (Patty) Durfey and stepbrothers Leo (Janet) Chamberlain, Chuck (Sharon) Chamberlain and sisters-in-law Mary Durfey and Golden Durfey. Her children, Clayton Moulder, and Connie (Robert) Sova and daughter in law Doris (Bill) Wisniewski. Her grandchildren, Betsy Moulder, Christopher (Laura) Moulder, Jesse Moulder and partner Jodi Tryban, Clinton Sova, and LeEsta (Frank) Rodriguez. She is also survived by her 6 great grandchildren Eli and Marley Couture, Troy and Connor Sova, and Ellie and Eric Moulder and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She will also be greatly missed by her family at the Moose Lodge who she loved to go see almost daily.

Barb loved music and dancing with her sweetheart Gordon and playing the keyboard. She enjoyed any time she had with friends and family, especially if a bonfire was involved.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00PM at Pinehill Cemetery.

Barb loved life and she loved a party so with that in mind the family will be holding a celebration of life at the Moose Lodge following the graveside gathering.
