Betty Joyce (Bauer) Connor

Betty Joyce Connor, 93, of Walloon Lake, MI (formerly Harbor Springs, MI), passed away on November 29, 2025.

Betty Jo was born February 1, 1932 in Coldwater City, MI, the daughter of Donald Bauer and Bessie Wade. Betty Jo married William Connor on October 16, 1959 in Detroit, MI. They would have been married for 66 years in October 2025. Betty Jo worked as a hairdresser before becoming a homemaker. Betty Jo especially loved gardening, sewing, quilting, fashion, and her family.

Remaining to cherish Betty Jo’s memory are children, Donald Connor, Robert Connor, and Marianne Connor; daughter-in-law, Jean Connor; grandchildren, Colin Connor, Caitlin Connor, Phillip Connor, Daniel Connor, Kelly Steinaway, Kathryn Ruffing, and Elizabeth Fraser; and 8 great-grandchildren.
