Beverly J Hillabrand

Beverly Jane Hillabrand went into Gods arms on November 14, 2025.

Beverly was born January 19, 1932, in Plymouth Indiana, she was the beloved daughter of Owen and Faye Bollenbacher. Beverly was a graduate of Plymouth High School in 1950. Beverly was a graduate of Holy Cross Central School of Nursing Noter Dame, Indiana in 1953.

On September 19, 1953, Beverly married Carroll (Nick) Hillabrand in Argos Indiana. The couple made their home in Midland Michigan where they raised their children. Beverly worked at the former Midland Hospital.

In 1989 Beverly and Nick retired and moved to their home on Burt Lake, Indian River, Michigan, they lived on the lake for 34 years.

For the last year Beverly lived in Independence Village in Petoskey Michigan, after the loss of her husband.  Beverly was an active member of Cross in the Woods in Indian River; she was a greeter, and she also was the coordinator of volunteers for the Chaldean Catholic visit for their Annual Cross in the Woods tour. Beverly loved to travel, especially going to Copper Harbor. Beverly loved to Bird watch with Nick by going to White Fish Point. Beverly was also a member of the locat Audubon Society. Beverly volunteered at the Indian River Friends of the Library, where she ran the Library Sale for many years. Beverly was active with the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.

Beverly had three children, Mark (Donna) Midland, Amy (Terry) Keenan Afton, David (Lori) Midland; Grandchildren, Jason (Sarah) Hillabrand, Nathan Hillabrand, Megan Keenan, Chase (Fiancé Nicole) Keenan, Trent (Meagan) Keenan, Rachel Hillabrand, Sarah (Travis) Scholtz; Great Grandchildren, Alexis, Cadem, Miles, Nova, Oaklee and Orrin Hillabrand, Colton, Blake and River Hillabrand, Owen and Claire Keenan. Sister-in-law: Marilyn Bollenbacher and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband “Nick”, Beverly was predeceased by her sister Rebecca Gangloff, Brothers Jim and John Bollenbacher.

Beverly will be loved and cherished by many. Special thanks to the Care Team at Independence Village for the great care they provided her and also including McLaren Hospice, for their diligence and respect.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Cross in the Woods (7078 M-68 Indian River, MI 49749) on Wednesday, November 26 @ 11:00am with visitation beginning at 10:00.
