Bradford Duane Knipe, age 71, of Boyne City, MI passed away Wednesday, November 17 at home from natural causes and is now with his Lord and Savior.
The son of Robert and Beverly (Bennett) Knipe, Brad was born in Petoskey, MI on October 28, 1950. He graduated from Boyne City High school in 1968 and worked for 43 dedicated years at East Jordan Iron Works. Brad spent many years volunteering in community organizations, enjoyed bowling on leagues, deer hunting every year, and golfing in the sun as much as possible, but he enjoyed spending time with his family more than anything else.
Brad is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan (Mathers) Knipe, his children Renee Knipe, Katrina (Knipe) Farber, Annette (Knipe) and Matthew Armentrout (his favorite son-in-law), his grandchildren Christopher Armentrout and Emily Armentrout, his sister Robin (Knipe) Raymor, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Brad was a kind and gentle soul who loved to help others and was always ready with a laugh, a smile and usually with a joke to share. He touch many souls during his life time and will be greatly missed by all.
The family would like to gather with family and friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Tuesday November 23, 2021 at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City.
