On Tuesday, October 15th 2019 Bruce Michael Newville Sr., loving husband and father passed away surrounded by his family at age 78.

Bruce was born on June 6th 1941 in Boyne City the son of Floyd and Evelyn (Poirier) Newville. On March 19th 1960, Bruce married Dorothy Kay Peck. Together they raised 4 children.

Bruce enjoyed bowling, football and most of all making others laugh. He spent 30+ years driving truck and retired in 2013. Driving truck was a true passion for him, one that was recognized within a few minutes of starting a conversation.

Bruce was preceded in death by his father, Floyd, mother, Evelyn and brothers, Floyd Jr. and Gary. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy and their four children; Brenda Newville - Hollister, Bruce (Mary) Newville Jr., Bonnie Johnson, and Bridget (Tom) Burns. As well as 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

In honor of Bruce, there will be a Celebration of Life, November 10th, 2019 at the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Boyne City, 2-5 pm.
