Carl Bruce Muscott

Carl Bruce Muscott, 69, passed away at his home in Indian River on March 2, 2020. He was born in Petoskey on June, 1 1950, the son of Bruce and Clara (Reid) Muscott.

Carl’s family moved to Canada when he was 17 and spent many years there. He worked as a diesel mechanic and loved buying and selling anything from property to cars. He eventually moved back to the states, landing in Indian River. Carl was very active in his community and spent a lot of time at city meetings. He also wrote articles for the local papers and had many “Letters to the Editor” published.

Carl is survived by a brother, Neil Muscott, and Aunt Marge Searles, and many cousins. He is proceeded in death by his parents his favorite Uncle Bud and his Uncle Don.

A burial service will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Petoskey in the spring where he will be united with his parents.
