Charles Douglas Cowie

In the early hours of February 25, 2025, Charles Douglas Cowie of Wyandotte Michigan, succumbed to his ongoing battle with failing health. 

Charles was born in the spring of 1960 to Charles P. Cowie and Ramona (Kalash) Cowie. 

An avid sportsman, Charlie loved his time out in nature. Among his other recreations in life were playing his harmonica and enjoying the company of his friends as well as his pets. Charlie will be remembered for his ability to deliver a well timed joke or the perfect story of his past.

Remaining to cherish the memory of Charlie is his daughter, Vanessa (Alexander) Curley; his grandsons Jason, Zachary, Nathan, and Tyler ((children of his late daughter, Corrie (Cowie) Cannoy and Michelangelo (child of Vanessa)); as well as his two sisters Alice Ames and Nancy Collier.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Ramona Cowie; daughter Corrie (Cowie) Cannoy; and his sister Rita McClintic.

A remembrance of life ceremony is to be announced at a later date.
