Chuck was a member of the Redneck Yacht Club and enjoyed spending time camping at Maple Bay, playing cards, and making memories on the boat and sandbar with his loved ones.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Michelle Lynn Ferret Soblesky-Franklin; children, Jamie (Jamie) Pethers, Rachelle (Devin) George, and Eric (Mary) Franklin; grandchildren, Marshal Franklin, Avia Gleason, Paidyn George, and Coltyn George; and siblings, Michael Franklin, Anne Franklin, Kitty Robbin Badgley, Laurie Robbin Stienman, Jack Finney, Chris Mutz, Karen Robbins-Hicks, and Kimberly Harrold. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as many unofficially adopted children and grandchildren.
