Charles B Woodard

Charles “Charlie” Brovage Woodard, age 44 of Cheboygan passed away at home on September 19, 2022. He was born February 7, 1978 in Cheboygan, the son of Charles and Lorraine (Brovage) Woodard.

When he was younger, Charlie did a lot of work with Christian Leadership, he was also an altar boy for St. Mary's Catholic Church throughout highschool. As he got older, he still volunteered at Sacred Heart Church. He worked as a licensed satellite technician at WJML radio for 10 years. Healthy living was one of Charlie's passions and he even helped his nephews with nutrition advice. Charlie loved football and was a quarter back for the Cheboygan Chiefs, he also enjoyed basketball, and staying in touch with his friends and family.

Charlie is survived by his parents Charles and Lorraine, siblings; Shirley (David) Kitzmiller, Nicole Bevier, and Doreen Durka, nieces and nephews; Scott (Anna) Kitzmiller, Mikaela, and Megan Kitzmiller, Isaiah Woodard, Nikolas (Natasha), Monique, Jazmine, Elijah, and Destiny Bevier, great nieces and nephews; Taleigha, Brison, Lala, Owen Bevier, Olivia and Lincoln Kitzmiller, his grandmother Shirley Brovage, and special friend Sonya Grondin and family.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather Edward J. Brovage, and Grandparents Charles and Edna Woodard.

Services for Charles will be held at Sacred Heart Church Friday September 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm with a 12:00 pm visitation with burial to follow. Memorial Contributions can be made to the family or Sacred Heart Church.
