Clifford “Cliff” Gillespie, age 68 of Vanderbilt passed away at his home on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 surrounded by his family.

Clifford was born on October 26, 1951 in Flint, MI the son of Wallace and Merna (Leist) Gillespie.

He is survived by his wife Linda Gillespie; son Rob (Teresa) Gillespie; daughter Jennifer (Rich) Carpenter; grandchildren Gavin Lauinger, Eli Gillespie, Kylee Carpenter and Savanna Settle; brother Dennis (Jane) Gillespie; sisters Sylvia Gillespie and Janis (Jim) Groh; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 4:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, August 10th at Stackus Funeral Home in Boyne City. A funeral ceremony with a military honor guard will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday at the family home; 11619 Woodward Road, Vanderbilt, MI 49795.
