Cynthia Ellen (Stapf) Crumbaugh

Cynthia Crumbaugh, 67, of Boyne City, Michigan, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2025. Born on September 2, 1957, in Columbus, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Ross Stapf and Shirley Klintworth and a proud alumna of Trinity Bible Institute in North Dakota.

Cynthia devoted her life to faith, service, and family. As Assistant Pastor at Fresh Fire Ministries, her heartfelt sermons and compassionate leadership touched countless lives. She was a devoted wife to Dave Crumbaugh, whom she married on June 16, 1979, and a loving mother to her two children. Her fourteen grandchildren brought her endless joy and pride.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, with a viewing from 10–11 a.m. and a service at 11 a.m. at Fresh Fire Ministries, located at 681 N. East St in Boyne City, Michigan 49712. The service will be officiated by Denielle Moes of Jordan Rivers Church. The burial is scheduled for May 12 at 11 a.m. at Maple Lawn Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Dave Crumbaugh; her two children; fourteen grandchildren; and her half-brother, Ross Stapf. Cynthia’s legacy of love, unwavering faith, and dedication to her family and community will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
