Dale and Christopher Houseworth

On July 5, 2025, Dale F Houseworth (54) and his son, Christopher Houseworth (16) tragically passed away on Burt Lake in Cheboygan County.    

Dale was born on March 17, 1971 in Ludington, MI, the son of Dennis and Linda (Sherwood) Houseworth and proudly served his country in the US Army.   

Dale moved to Levering, MI and worked as a House Painter.   Dale was the father of 3 children, Ronnie, Christopher, and Natasha.   

Christopher was born on January 15, 2009 and just finished his Sophomore year at the Pellston High School where he was active in Track, Football, and Cross Country.   

Both Dale and Christopher lived by the moral code that if someone needs help, you help them and both would drop whatever they were doing to help someone in need.   Both lives were tragically cut short, but their memory lives on in those that knew and loved them.  

They are survived by their mother/grandmother, Linda Williamson; son/brother, Ronny; daughter/sister Natasha (Corey); grandchildren/nephews, Ryan, Jordan, and Justin and by Christopher's mother, Christine.

Services celebrating Dale and Christopher’s life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd at 1pm at the Pellston High School Auditorium with a time of refreshment to follow in the Pellston High School Cafeteria.
