Daniel Haines Obituary

Daniel L. Haines went to his Father in Heaven on November 13, 2023 at McLaren Hospital Northern Michigan in Petoskey. Dan was 58 years young, He was born September 13, 1965 to Harold and Gloria Coates of Lake Ann, MI. Dan was preceeded in death by his father Harold. Dan leaves behind a loving husband Charles Haines of Afton, MI and many, many dear friends. Surviving are his loving mother Gloria Coates of Lake Ann, three sisters, Susan Arnold of Mississippi, Diane Mack of Williamsburg, Lisa Coates of Interlochen, MI and Carl Coates of Arizona. Dan had a beaming personality and had many hobbies including cooking, gardening, quilting, loved his friends on facebook and was a huge Lego brickalcoholic. His cats were also dear and close to his heart. Dan graduated Benzie Central H.S. then went on to get a Bachelors degree at Lee University in in Cleveland, Tennessee.

Arrangements have been made with Stone Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Indian River.
