Daniel Joseph Jarnac, 66, passed away Monday, January 29th, 2024, in his home in Cheboygan, Michigan.
Daniel was born on January 22nd, 1958, in Highland Park Michigan to Leo and Philomen (O’Grady) Jarnac. Dan's family spent many summers in Cheboygan until making a permanent move in 1968. Daniel graduated from Cheboygan Area High School in 1976. In high school he was a member of the track team and participated in the school band. Upon graduation he received two scholarships and he attended North Central Michigan college. Daniel held various jobs in his lifetime some of which included mullet lake lawn and tree, wright way homes and Ford dealership as a car detailer. In 1986 Dan met the love of his life, Pearl Soullier, and later married in 1988. Together they welcomed three children, Sarah, Jacob and Jessica. Daniel was an avid reader and would often park down at the city beach or the dam with a cup of coffee and indulge in a good book. He enjoyed driving around town and meeting up for coffee and a good chat with friends and family. He enjoyed spending his quality time with his children and grandchildren.
Daniel's family will remember him as a caring man with quite a sense of humor. Someone who was always there to do what he could for his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew him. “This isn't a goodbye, its until we meet again.”
Daniel is survived by his twin sister, Denise (Jarnac) Hamilton, Brother Robert Charboneau (Janet), Son Jacob Jarnac, Daughters, Sarah Price (Jake), Jessica Stokes (Chris), Grandchildren Chloe McPherson, Link and Jack Price. As well as many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Leo and Philomen Jarnac, wife Pearl Jarnac and sister Dorothy Guenther (George).
A celebration of life will be held later this spring.
