Danielle Nicole Elore

Danielle Nicole Elore, age 40, of Mesick, Michigan, formerly of Petoskey, Michigan passed away on December 28, 2025. She was born on June 10, 1985, and spent her life deeply rooted in the place she loved most, Northern Michigan.

Danielle was a devoted Registered Nurse at Munson Medical Center, where she was known for her compassion, professionalism, and unwavering care for her patients and coworkers. She graduated from Petoskey High School in 2003, completed her initial nursing education at North Central Michigan College in 2011, and went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ferris State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 2015. Nursing was more than a career for Danielle—it was a calling, and she made every night shift brighter with her kindness, teamwork, and genuine concern for others.

Above all else, Danielle’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was the birth of her beloved daughter, Ruby Darlyn, age 5. Danielle shined most in her role as Ruby’s mother, loving her fiercely and wholeheartedly. Ruby was the center of Danielle’s world and the source of her greatest happiness.

Danielle had an infectious laugh and an incredible sense of humor that brought joy to those around her. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers, and she cherished Northern Michigan, which she proudly called home her entire life.

Danielle is survived by her beloved partner, Jay Gould; her precious daughter, Ruby Darlyn Gould; her parents, John and Judy Elore; her siblings, Michelle (Joel) Larson, Robert (Geraldine) Elore, and Krista (Thomas) Featherstone; her beloved dogs, Trixie and Maggie, and her cats, Addie and MoMo; as well as her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly.

Danielle will be remembered for her warmth, her humor, her dedication to caring for others, and most of all, for the love she poured into her daughter. Her presence will be deeply missed, and her legacy will live on through Ruby and all those whose lives she touched.

There will be a memorial service at Stone Funeral Home on January 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. Rev. David Behling will officiate.
