David Duane Robbins, 54, of Pellston, died December 5, 2025, at home with his family by his side.
Dave was born on December 3, 1971, the son of James and Raeone (Graham) Robbins. He attended Pellston High School, graduating in 1990. After moving to Ohio for college and earning his associate’s degree, he returned to northern Michigan to build his life close to home.
On August 14, 1999, he married Denise (Lendvoy) Robbins. Together they made their home in Pellston and raised their three children: Alec, Jakeb, and Emma. Dave worked at Circuit Controls Corporation, now Yazaki, for many years, serving as Department Supervisor. He was also a proud and dedicated member of the Pellston Fire Department for over 30 years and served with the DNR for over 20 years. These organizations were deeply meaningful to him and were places where he formed countless friendships.
He gave generously to his community, umpiring Pellston High School softball games and officiating volleyball. Dave loved camping with family and friends and spending time outside with his grandkids brought him great joy.
Dave is survived by his wife, Denise Robbins of Pellston; his mother-in-law, Joanne Lendvoy of Brutus; their children Alec (Samantha) Friedenstab of Pellston, Jakeb (Breah) Friedenstab of Pellston, and Emma (Mason) Albin of Montague, Michigan; and his beloved grandchildren Eli, Norah, Leland, and Hattie Friedenstab. He is also survived by his siblings Scott (Jennifer) Robbins, Betsy (Garry) Carr, and Mark (Kandra) Robbins; his nephews Brian, Nick, Alex, and Ben; and his loving companion, Milo the cat.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raeone and James Robbins.
