In his later years he developed a like for plowing snow, walking and going to the bakery during the summer. David and Celeste took many daily rides around the area and, although he was not Catholic, he escorted her to St. Anthony’s of Padua every Sunday. He spent many hours in front of the television watching his favorite Detroit Tigers play.
