David P. Neuens

David Neuens, 77,  passed July 11, 2021,peacefully at home with his special friend Rosemarie Piesik  by his side. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather who leaves many family members and good friends. Dave was born December 3,1943 in Flint, MI and raised in Flint  where he left to serve  as Airman in the United States Air force then going on to spend his career with General Motors retiring after 30 years. In retirement, Dave moved to the Village of Wolverine Michigan where he remained active in the local American Legion Post 122 and Indian River Eagles. Dave enjoyed his retirement years camping, playing cards, casino trips, and helping many friends and neighbors whenever they needed help. Well known for his playful sense of humor, he always enjoyed a cold beer and chats with fellow villagers. The village will always remember Dave as the very best of men.

Dave is survived by spouse Anna, son Jon Neuens, and daughter Kristina (John) VanGoethem. He is also survived by companion and partner Rosemarie Piesik, granddaughters Margaret and Abigail and best friend Stu Rochester. He also leaves his loving fur baby companions Ruby and Cody.  Arrangements are handled by Stone Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Indian River Michigan with interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Gaylord, Michigan.
