DeVere O Middleton

DeVere Middleton, age 92 of Boyne City passed away on Tuesday, January 16th, 2018 at Grandvue Medical Care Facility.

DeVere was born May 28, 1925 in Boyne City to Howard and Dora (Decker) Middleton.  He lived his entire life in Boyne City.

His wife Joan preceded him in death on June 21, 1993; daughter Christine and infant grandson Jeffrey David Neer; parents; brother Norman Middleton; and sisters Juanita Hadix and Shirley Wuerth.

DeVere is survived by his son David (Chito) Middleton; daughters Debbie (Art) Neer and Brenda (Al) Roisen; ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren with one more to arrive in March; and his dear friend Helen Anzell.

A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 at the United Methodist Church in Boyne City with a military burial to take place following at Maple Lawn Cemetery.

The family suggest memorial donations to be directed to the United Methodist Church or charity of choice in memory of DeVere.
