Dean Bourgeois

Dean N Bourgeois, 73, of Cheboygan, passed away on July 29, 2025, at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey surrounded by his family.

Dean was born in Detroit MI on August 3rd, 1951, the son of John and Dorothy (Charboneau) Bourgeois. He spent his early years in California where he started School in Glendora, then moved back to Cheboygan where he attended St. Mary’s Catholic School.

On August 18th, 1973, Dean married the love of his life Wanda Stull, in Cheboygan. The couple built a life together raising their four children. He proudly owned and operated his own business for over twenty years, Deans Drywall & Painting. He enjoyed life and all the special moments he was able to spend with his family.

Preceding him in death are his parents John & Dorothy Bourgeois, sister Cathy Bourgeois, Brother Joe Bourgeois, and beloved son Michael Bourgoeis. 

Dean is survived by his Loving wife Wanda, daughters Lynnea (Wes) Bourgeois, Diana (Jesse) Nagy, son John (Sanya) Bourgeois, and daughter in law Tracy Bourgeois. Also surviving are his much-adored grandchildren, Jarrod, Kaitlyn, Gabrielle and Bria and great-grandchildren Journey, Ivey, and Emberly.

A celebration of Deans life has already taken place privately with his family.
