Donald Parrott Obituary

Donald E. Parrott, 89, of Indian River, passed away Thursday May 21, 2020 at his daughter Carol's home in Rio Rancho, NM.

Don was born March 4, 1931 in Detroit, MI to Lloyd and Louise (Rousch) Parrott. Don grew up in the Indian River area and graduated from Onaway High School. On December 17, 1954 he married Mary Therese Provo in Cheboygan, MI. Don proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a member of the NRA and the Marine Corps Association. Don enjoyed building and designing homes, camping , fishing and coin collecting.

Don is survived by 2 daughters, Carol Beadle of N.M.and Rose Lovett of N.C.; grandchildren, William Parrott, Jillian Martinez, Lucas Beadle, Matthew and Danny Fairchild; great grandchildren, Hailie Parrott, Piper and Page Beadle, Kiera and James Fairchild.

Memorials can be made to Veterans of Foreign Wars.

The family is being served by Stone Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Indian River.
